Artwork Statement

The human torso has long captivated much artistic interest. I have carved the female and male body forms out of stone with an air hammer and chisel. And as suggested by the title for this sculpture ‘GENESIS’, my hand has created what you see and touch. Procreation in Nature, as we know, begins all cycles of Life.

人体躯干以它特有的美学结构一直以来都是艺术创作的主题。正如这个雕塑的标题“创世纪”所暗示的那样，我用气锤和凿子用石头雕刻了女性和男性的身体形式。我的手创造了你所看到和触摸到的东西。它代表的意思是：自然中的生育开始于生命的所有循环。
