Artwork Statement

“A sombre time swept over life like an overcast. We stop, think – how do we come away from this! Through this introspection, I relate my experience of the pandemic and the need to rekindle the impulse to create something through art. Artists need to revive themselves in creative passion, even if at some point the inner fire had doused.

The music stave, void of manuscript lies in the hollow of a Quaver head. It awaits musical notes to indulge themselves in song and claim their place on the stave once again. Rekindling – the Quaver rousing into dance as music comes alive!”
