Artwork Statement

“Nicholas loves different forms of art. He enjoys drawing, and painting but loves digital art the most. He was given a chance to learn to work with ceramics at Art.Dis in 2019. He enjoys exploring folklore, legends & mythologies.            

Nicholas finds Kappa cute, especially the head part. It is not an easy process as this sculpture has broken during the stage of building. Nicholas has persevered and re-sculpted another piece. He would like others to know of the Kappa Legend, famous Japanese folklore.”

尼古拉斯觉得水猴很可爱，尤其是头部。这不是一个容易的过程，因为这个雕塑在建造阶段就坏了。尼古拉斯坚持并重新雕刻了另一件作品。他想让其他人知道日本著名的民间“水猴传说”。
