Artwork Statement

“Tan See Mui is a deaf artist who works with ceramics. Currently, she resides at Redhill(Singapore) and her hobby is making clays for fun since my company had been closed down. She was previously exposed to ceramics & sculpture at La Salle Art School. During class at ART:DIS, she learned how to clay & paint with glaze as a way to improve herself. She has studied art history and writing during her school years but finds joy in designing and craft making. She has previously exhibited her painting works with ART:DIS.         

My old hometown: animals playful around gardens while birds were flying or rest on trees.”
