Michelle Eunsil Lee is a Korean-born American ceramic artist and founder of Potterywell Ceramics SG in Singapore. Her work embodies a dialogue between culture, memory, and material, shaped by a life across Seoul, Busan, Los Angeles, New York, London, Switzerland, India, and Singapore. Formerly an Art Director with the Gucci Group in Europe and the U.S., she discovered clay as a quiet counterpoint to fashion’s intensity. After fifteen years in design, she earned her MFA in Fine Art from Cranbrook Academy of Art and has since exhibited internationally. Her background in fashion and graphic design informs the sculptural silhouettes and tactile surfaces of her ceramics. Each piece distills fragments of her journey, echoing landscapes, craftsmanship, and questions of identity. Michelle’s work has been featured in the Singapore Clay Festival, The Sculpture Society of Singapore, and Made in Clay in New York, reflecting a practice rooted in tradition yet continually evolving.
