Francis is a multi-disciplinary artist who founded the studio OCCASIANS and An Other Space, which he also curates for. He was awarded the Georgette Chen Scholarship and graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with a diploma in ceramics in 2007. His practice includes functional ceramics, sculptures, installations and performative pieces. He has been an art educator for persons with disabilities at Art:Dis Singapore since 2011. In 2023, he was nominated as a member of the managing committee of Sculpture Society (Singapore) and is in the working committee for Wood Sculpture Symposium as well as the 2023 annual show “Seek”.
